Germans consume 800 million pizzas each year. But just what exactly are they munching on? The reporters film in Europe’s largest pizza factory for their documentary GERMANY AND ITS PIZZA (original titel: DEUTSCHLAND, DEINE PIZZA). They have ready-made goods tested in terms of ingredients and packaging lies. And they follow the trail of raw materials, documenting the exploitation and misery they encounter when tomato crops are harvested.
