They come at night, rudely awaken families in their beds and deposit them in an airplane. In 2015, so-called special enforcement squads from the police and immigration authorities deported more than 22,000 applicants for asylum. The startling documentary DEPORTATION LOG (original title: PROTOKOLL EINER ABSCHIEBUNG) illustrates a comprehensive picture of these coercive government measures for the first time in Germany.
