We make films about people and the very different worlds they live in. Because we’re convinced that the vast majority of stories can only be told and understood when we turn to the people they happen to, tales they experience and that mark them. That’s why the name of our production company is OTHER PEOPLE pictures.
OTHER PEOPLE develops documentaries, documentary series and feature-length documentaries. We produce for television, media libraries, streaming services and the cinema. Our films have been awarded many prizes. They have been invited to national and international festivals, and some of them ran very successfully at movie theatres.
OTHER PEOPLE produces at its own editing studio in Hamburg. We work in close co-operation with professional colleagues who assume responsibility for camera, sound, music, editing, scripts or directing, a number of whom have been honoured for their work. As creative producers we support authors during the development of their film projects and take over production aspects, especially in the area of feature documentaries.
